CULTURE AND RECREATION PARK OF THE CITY OF RADVILIŠKIS

Sculptures

The park is decorated with various sculptures of plein-air woodcarvers held in 2002, 2010, 2011, "Karzygiai aleja" - a gift to the city from the participants of the international plein-air of wood sculptors and blacksmiths, commemorating the 600th anniversary of the Battle of Žalgiris. In the center, there is a sculpture created by the wood carver Edmundas Gaubas, commemorating the millennium of the mention of the name of Lithuania. It was supplemented by sunbeams and other metal elements forged by the blacksmith Stanislaus Špukas. The park is equipped with outdoor exercise equipment, a multifunctional children's playground, and ramps for extreme sports lovers to ride rollerblades, skateboards, and BMX bikes.

Nearby - 2008 the Radviliškis sports arena was built and in 2010 the renovated Laisvės Sąjūdis stadium complex, where events of local, republican and international importance take place.
