Around 1765 A chapel was built in Kurai. It was renovated in 1803 and belonged to Radviliškis parish. In 1857, on the initiative of the pastor of Radviliškis the present chapel was built. After the Second World War, it is called a church.The church is of vernacular architectural forms, with side sacristy, three-walled apse and tower. The churchyard fence is stone masonry, with a massive arched gate. There is a wooden belfry in the churchyard.
