During the Second World War, the church burned down. in 1945 the church is located in a brick building built by German prisoners. in 1991 reconstructed.

in 2014 July 18 three bells cast from copper, tin and bronze alloy were added to the reconstructed church tower. As usual, each is given a name carved into the side of the bell. The largest bell, weighing 500 kilograms, is named after the church's patron saint, St. In the name of the Nativity of the Virgin Mary. A slightly smaller, 300-kilogram bell was given the mercy of Pope St. Name of John Paul II. The patron saint of Lithuanian youth, St. Casimir's name. All three bells were produced in Poland, in the foundry of the Kruševski brothers, which has a long tradition of bell casting.
