The manor has been mentioned since 1492, when it belonged to the elders of Žemaitija, the Kesgails. Of them, the 15th century. help or 15th century Ave. the estate was inherited by Butrimaičiai, and from them by Šemetos. A large wooden staircase between two landings led to the building.
There were two large ovens in the middle. To the right was a wide staircase with a handrail leading to a large living room-dining room. There was a painted brick oven with coats of arms, a sideboard, above which there was a balcony for musicians. The building had about forty windows.
in 1857 Jonas Šemeta funded the construction of the current Šiaulėnai church. In addition to the conservatory-office compound of the palace, the barn, the chapel pillar, and the ruins of the forge are still preserved.
