“The millennium of Lithuania” – the sculptural composition to mark the millennium of the name of Lithuania was opened solemnly during the town festival of Radviliškis in 2009. One side of the composition shows pagan elements and on the other side - our path during the period of Christianity. The author of this composition – a wood-carver and a sculptor from Radviliškis Edmundas Gaubas, whose works are usually devoted to the history of the country. “1919. The battle of Radviliškis” and “Žalgiris. Lithuanians came back” are the sculptural compositions crafted by this wood-carver and included in the book of records of Lithuania.
