THE MONUMENT TO POET ADOM MICKEVIČIUS

Monuments

The sculpture of Lithuanian and Polish poet Adam Mickiewicz was created in 1911 by sculptor Kazimieras Ulianskas. Burbiškis Adomas Mickevičius is the first monument in Lithuania to the famous poet.

A monument to Adam Mickiewicz simply could not be missed in Burbiškis manor because Mr. Baženskiai adored the poetry he created.

The monument is also unique in that it radiates the poet's inner energy. The features of the poet's face are copied from the portraits painted by the artist V. Vankavičius.
