THE SYMBOL OF RADVILIŠKIS STEAM LOCOMOTIVE

History

Since 2004, the attraction near Radviliškis railway station has been its trophy – a steam locomotive built in Berlin in 1944, which is entered in the Cultural Heritage Register due to its historical, technical, and technological value. The relic of Radviliškis locomotive depot, belonging to the so-called T series, is the only one of this kind, which has survived in our country. Today, it is an eloquent symbol of the town considered the capital of railwaymen.
