VADAKTŲ ST. AGOTA CHURCH

Commander St. Agota Church - built in 1883. The church has the features of classicism, is a rectangular plan with one facade tower, single-nave. There are 3 altars. In the small cemetery there is a cemetery, a low red brick masonry belfry with two bells. Cemetery fence stone masonry. Since 2016 the wall of the church is decorated with a memorial plaque dedicated to the 100th anniversary of the death of the famous Polish writer, Nobel Laureate in Literature Henryk Sienkiewicz. This is where the writer lived and worked.
